Northwest Cyber Crime Task Force (NWCCTF)
The Northwest Cyber Crime Task Force is comprised of investigators from the FBI, U.S. Secret Service,
Internal Revenue Service, Washington State Patrol, and the Seattle Police Department, with the shared
purpose of protecting our community, our region, and our nation against terrorist and other criminal cyber threats.

- IC3 - Internet Crime Complaint Center
- The Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) serves as a resource for reporting Internet-based crimes,
such as auction site and credit card fraud, through an easy to use on-line reporting form. IC3 is a
cooperative effort between the FBI and the
National White Collar Crime Center.
- CCIPS - Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section

CCIPS addresses cyber matters for the Criminal Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. The CCIPS site includes information
on computer hacking, intellectual property rights, ethics, and other topics of interest in the
areas of cyber crime and law.
- NCMEC - National Center for Missing and Exploited Children
- This site contains information and resources related to missing children, child exploitation, and child safety. This site also provides a CyberTipline for reporting child pornography, on-line child enticements, and similar threats.
- Federal Trade Commission
- The Federal Trade Commission maintains a clearinghouse for identity theft complaints and provides extensive consumer protection resources.

ITS Laboratory
The ITS Laboratory serves as a technical resource to the Seattle FBI office in addressing high-technology crimes, through:
- Expert advice on the latest cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies
- Malicious code analysis, including worms, trojans, and viruses
- Intrusion detection and analysis
- Network traffic analysis
- Sophisticated investigative techniques
CART Laboratory
The Computer Analysis Response Team (CART) provides computer forensics support to the FBI. CART maintains
a state-of-the-art forensics laboratory for the purpose of searching, seizing, and examining computer systems and media obtained during the course of FBI investigations.
