"Garden Glove Bandit"
SUBJECT DESCRIPTION:
White male, 50-60 yrs old, 5’08” – 5’ 10”, approx 160 lbs, slim build, clean-shaven, wearing dark blue floppy brim hat, tan jacket, dark pants, carrying a white plastic bag (in most recent robbery)
INFORMATION:
The suspect is believed to be responsible for 6 bank robberies in Seattle since 2004, each one in a Washington Mutual Bank branch. In his earlier robberies he wore “garden type gloves” earning him his nickname, but he has not done so recently. He displayed a knife in his first robbery and in two others he threatened a gun but none was seen. In his last two robberies he claimed he had a bomb and he stated that he has nothing to live for. The photos indicate that he has lost weight in the past 2 years.
